Navy tests Iron Dome (Photo: Defense Ministry)

Israel’s Iron Dome was tested at sea for the first time, intercepting a range of incoming threats. The naval air defense system will be installed on all newly acquired Sa’ar 6 warships, giving the IDF more flexibility in protecting strategic assets.

The Defense Ministry said that Iron Dome shot down a rocket, a drone, and cruise missiles during the test. The experiment was carried out off the central Israel coast.
