A major cyber offensive is targeting Israeli banks in recent days, the Israel Defense website reported Wednesday. One estimate points to Iranian hackers, but there has been no confirmation at this point.
In parallel, Israel’s National Cyber Directorate says that it thwarted a cyberattack on multiple Israeli organizations. Attackers gained access to some email servers, the cyber center’s alert said, without providing further information on the targets.
