IDF forces detained two armed Palestinians who crossed the Gaza Strip border fence into Israel Thursday. The suspects barricaded themselves in an abandoned army post and hurled malfunctioning or dummy grenades at the troops.
The soldiers returned fire and quickly arrested the suspects, who were also carrying a knife. The two Palestinians are being questioned by the security services.
In recent days, there has been an uptick in Palestinian infiltration attempts from Gaza.
