Iran’s retaliation for the killing of Qasem Soleimani was “minor” because Tehran fears a clash with the US, Regional Cooperation Minister Tzachi Hanegbi says. “We were happy to see that the Iranians in effect backed down anxiously from this confrontation” Hanegbi told IDF Radio.
The comments marked the first official Israeli response to Iran’s missile strike on US bases in Iraq.
